I used to tell myself I just wasn't meant to be an athlete, and confidence wasn't something that came naturally to me. I always wished I stuck with a sport growing up, but I was the type of person who was afraid to try new things because I didn't want to feel "new" at something. Eventually, I forced myself out of my comfort zone and began strength training.
I remember purposely waking up early to get to the gym to avoid people seeing me in the weight room because I was so afraid. As time passed, I slowly gained confidence and even competed in bikini competitions a few years later! Afterwards, though, I found myself in what felt like an endless cycle of weight fluctuations and restrictive eating habits.
After education on reverse dieting and macros, I shifted my training focus on more objective goals that weren't based on what I saw in the mirror. Setting non-aesthetic training goals has made me the strongest and most confident version of myself, and my caloric intake is now higher than it has ever been in my life!
My goal is to show women that they belong in the weight room. You can become the strongest (and happiest) version of yourself, enjoy your routine, reach your goals AND live your life WITHOUT being restrictive. I'm here to help you get there.
