The Hybrid Challenge is a 6-week running and strength training challenge built to fuse the two in a way that actually works. Choose the 5K track to build toward your first 5K, or the 10K track if you're ready to go further. Both programs unlock in your app. You keep them forever. Six weeks of structured training wraps up with a virtual race on July 4th weekend, where one finisher who shared their race in the Strava group will each win $1,000 cash.

The Programming
The Hybrid Challenge pairs two strength sessions per week with three structured run days and two recovery and mobility days. The structure is the same every week: the exercises and distances inside each day build progressively across six weeks. Three training blocks carry you from foundation to peak.
Day 1 - Easy Run: Short and comfortable. Conversational pace. Walk breaks are built in on the 5K track.
Day 2 - Full Body Strength: Dumbbells only. Compound movements, a cardio finisher, and core work.
Day 3 - Recovery and Mobility: Hips, hamstrings, calves. Everything that tightens up from running.
Day 4 - Interval Run: Structured speed work. This is where your running actually improves.
Day 5 - Full Body Strength: Second strength session. Different exercises, same full-body approach.
Day 6 - Long Run: Your distance day. Builds every week and leads you to race day.
Day 7 - Recovery and Mobility: End the week here. Stretch, walk, reset.
